Frequently Asked Questions
Fees
The site fees for Caravan Holiday Homes are: £2,750 for 9 month season and £3,200 for 10 ½ months. Site fees are payable 1st January for the following season.
Rates
Water and General Rates are included in the Annual Site Fees, inclusive of VAT.
Electricity
Electricity is metered separately to each plot and invoiced twice yearly.
Insurance
All Caravan Holiday Homes must be insured and this can be arranged through the Park Owners. As an owner you can, should you wish, enjoy our specially negotiated insurance scheme, providing fully comprehensive protection for the Holiday Home and its contents.
Season
Even though the Holiday Park is only open for seasonal use, you can visit your Holiday Home at any time during the day in winter. The By-law informs that the home must not be occupied between Dusk and Dawn during the closed period, We would advise regular checks during the winter months, if only for insurance purposes.
Pitch Agreement
A written code of practise and license agreement, developed by the BH & HPA is given to all owners.
Age Limit
There is not an age limit on Holiday Homes here at Tan Y Don
Dogs
Dogs are welcomed at Tan Y Don, but owners are asked to consider other park users at all times. Dogs must be kept on a lead and exercised off the Park. Please use your Pooper Scoopers when necessary.
